Country guides
Verify a carrier by country
Each country uses different registers for company status, transport licence, VAT, and insurance. Pick your lane country and run the same checks on booking day.
Each supported country publishes company, licence, VAT, and insurance data in different registers. These guides map the production source set Certica uses per country and the checks you should run before assigning a load. Serbia is covered as a non-EU market with local tax and licence registers instead of VIES.
Pick the country that matches the carrier VAT ID, not your office location. The same forwarder may need Poland one week and Romania the next.

- Domestic-only licence on an international lane
- Plate bureau shows a passenger car body type on a heavy goods booking
- Freemail contact on a multi-licence operator
- Register address does not match invoice or website
