Carrier liability (CMR/OCP) policy

Confirm a carrier liability policy directly with the insurer

Certica confirms a carrier’s liability (CMR/OCP) policy directly with the insurer: Warta, Generali, Compensa and Euroins. You upload the policy; Certica extracts the details, submits the insurer’s own verification form and reads the reply from the website or email. You get the insurer’s status, the original reply to download, and the policy cover with verbatim quotes compared with your transport order.

Why the policy PDF alone is not enough

A policy PDF can be forged, an old document can be edited, or a cancelled policy can be sent. The document looks fine and there is no cover.

The insurer knows whether the policy exists and is active. Where the insurer offers a verification form, Certica asks the insurer directly.

How insurer confirmation works

  • Upload the carrier’s liability policy, conditions and endorsements.
  • Certica extracts the insurer, policy number, insured party, tax ID, period and sum insured.
  • Certica fills in the insurer’s form and submits the cover query.
  • The insurer replies on its website or by email. Certica reads the reply and shows the result in the app, with no new request needed.
  • Download the insurer’s original email or PDF when you need evidence.

What the result shows

Other insurerCertica reads the policy with quotes and compares it with the order; confirm the status with the insurer

Cover with quotes and comparison with the order

Confirmation tells you the policy exists. It does not tell you whether it covers your load. Certica also reads the cover: insured party, period, sum insured, territory, transport types, cargo categories and exclusions. Each field shows a verbatim quote from the policy or the general conditions.

Then compare the policy with your order. If you ship ADR goods and the policy excludes them, or you book cabotage the policy does not cover, you see it before loading.

The carrier and its policy in one place

Policy confirmation runs alongside carrier verification in 13 countries: registers, licence, VAT, insolvency, the fraud database and register documents. Your team sees everything in one result.

FAQ

Which insurers does Certica confirm liability policies with?

Warta, Generali and Compensa in Poland, and Euroins in Bulgaria. For other insurers, Certica reads the policy with verbatim quotes and compares it with your order.

Do I fill in the insurer’s form myself?

No. Certica extracts the details from the uploaded policy, fills in the form and reads the reply. You only upload the document.

What is the evidence of confirmation?

The insurer’s original reply, as an email or PDF, downloadable from the result in the app.

Does confirmation mean the policy covers my load?

Confirmation means the policy exists and is active. Whether it covers your goods and route is shown by the quoted cover analysis and the comparison with your order.
