JISCD: Slovak transport licence check
JISCD is Slovakia’s joint information system for community licences and related road transport permits. Search by Slovak IČO on booking day, read national permits and community licences separately, and check vehicle counts and the named transport manager where published. An active ORSR company without JISCD haulage rights is not enough to assign a load.
Key checks before you assign the load
- Search JISCD by Slovak IČO on booking day.
- Read national permits and community licences as separate lines.
- Check validity dates against the pickup date.
- Read vehicle counts over and under 3.5 t where shown.
- Note the transport manager on national permits when published.
- Treat an uncertain match as a reason to review before approval.
What the check means
JISCD lists Slovak road transport undertakings with national permits and EU community licences. For each IČO you can confirm company identity, permit numbers, validity windows, transport type, vehicle bands, certified copies on community lines, and transport manager names where the register publishes them.
Why this check matters
Company existence alone is not carrier verification. A company can exist and still need deeper checks before you assign a load.
- Company register activity in ORSR does not prove haulage rights in JISCD.
- Domestic permits and community licences cover different lane scopes.
- Zero or unknown vehicle totals on active permits need manual review.
- Licence status can change between an emailed scan and today’s booking.
What data can be compared
| What to compare | Compare with | Risk signal |
|---|---|---|
| JISCD listing for the IČO | Contracting entity | No permit or community licence for the IČO |
| National permit validity | Domestic lane and pickup date | All national permits expired |
| Community licence validity | Cross-border EU lane | No community licence or all expired |
| Vehicle counts over / under 3.5 t | Fleet story from the carrier | Zero known vehicles on active freight permits |
| Transport manager | Booking contact | Manager missing where you expect one |
| Lookup certainty | Single clear IČO match | Uncertain match needs manual confirmation |
Limits of the check
- JISCD does not replace ORSR or ZRSR company checks.
- JISCD does not prove plate insurance (use SKP when plates are provided).
- Vehicle counts describe register capacity, not which truck will arrive tomorrow.
- An uncertain match means pause and confirm identity, not automatic approval.
Red flags and common mistakes
No JISCD permit or community licence for the IČO
The company may exist in ORSR without haulage rights. Pause before pickup details go out.
Community licence missing on a cross-border lane
National permit alone may not cover your EU lane. Requires review before cargo details.
All listed permits expired
Hard stop until a current JISCD line covers the pickup date.
Zero vehicles on active freight permits
Requires manual review of real capacity before you assign the load.
How Certica includes JISCD
Certica automatically collects and analyses carrier verification data, detects risk signals, and supports your decision before a load is assigned.
Certica pulls the official register as part of carrier verification, together with company, VAT, insurance when plates are provided, and domain checks. You see risk signals before pickup. The PDF is an audit trail.
For Slovak carriers, JISCD runs by IČO alongside ORSR, ZRSR, VIES, and SKP when plates are provided.
- National permits and community licences evaluated in the same verification.
- Official JISCD extract attached when the fetch succeeds.
- Works from IČO plus country SK without a separate JISCD login.

Where is the official JISCD site?

Does ORSR replace a JISCD check?
No. ORSR confirms the company. JISCD confirms transport permits and community licences. You need both before you assign a load.
