JISCD public register: check a licence by IČO
JISCD is Slovakia’s official public register for community licences and related road transport permits. Open the public search, no login is required, and search by Slovak IČO on booking day. Read national permits and community licences separately, and check vehicle counts and the named transport manager where published. An active ORSR company without JISCD haulage rights is not enough to assign a load.
Looking for a JISCD login to manage your own licence? Open the JISCD public carrier overview. This guide is for a forwarder checking a Slovak carrier before a load.
How to check a JISCD Slovak transport licence step by step
JISCD public overview is at JISCD public carrier overview. No login is needed to look up a company by IČO.
Step 1: open the JISCD public overview
Go to JISCD public carrier overview and find the search by Slovak IČO. The public overview does not require a login.
Step 2: enter the IČO and search
Type the IČO of the company you are checking and run the search. JISCD returns the operator record for that IČO, if any.
Step 3: read Vydané povolenia
Under Vydané povolenia read Číslo povolenia, Dátum vydania, Typ dopravy, Platnosť, Počet vozidiel nad/do 3,5t, and Vedúci dopravy. Compare Platnosť to your pickup date.
Step 4: read Vydané licencie
Under Vydané licencie read Číslo licencie, Platnosť, and Počet overených kópii. For a cross-border EU lane you need a valid community licence line, not only a domestic permit story.
Step 5: save the result with the date
Save a screenshot or print of the JISCD page with the date you checked it, so the load file shows what the register said on booking day rather than relying on memory later.
Certica
Don't want to do this on every booking?
Certica pulls data from the same registers, checks it, and shows a clear result: what is OK, and what needs clarifying before loading.
Red flags and common mistakes
No JISCD permit or community licence for the IČO
The company may exist in ORSR without haulage rights. Pause before pickup details go out.
Community licence missing on a cross-border lane
National permit alone may not cover your EU lane. Requires review before cargo details.
All listed permits expired
Hard stop until a current JISCD line covers the pickup date.
Zero vehicles on active freight permits
Requires manual review of real capacity before you assign the load.

Does ORSR replace a JISCD check?
