RPSD: Czech transport licence check
RPSD is Czechia’s register of road transport operators. Search by IČO on booking day, confirm the concession is active, check cargo scope and heavy goods authorisation for your lane, and read eurolicence lines with active copies for cross-border work. An active ARES company without a valid RPSD concession is not enough to assign a load.
Key checks before you assign the load
- Search RPSD by Czech IČO on booking day.
- Confirm concession created, cancelled, and suspended dates.
- Match cargo scope flags to the lane you want to book.
- Check heavy / large vehicle authorisation when relevant.
- Read eurolicence number, validity, and active copies.
- Store the RPSD extract with the load file date.
What the check means
RPSD lists road transport undertakings with concession data and EU eurolicences. For each IČO you can confirm company identity, concession lifecycle dates, cargo and passenger scope flags, large vehicle counts, and eurolicence validity with active copy counts.
Why this check matters
Company existence alone is not carrier verification. A company can exist and still need deeper checks before you assign a load.
- ARES company existence does not prove RPSD haulage rights.
- Cancelled or suspended concessions are a hard pause before pickup.
- Cross-border lanes need a valid eurolicence line, not only a domestic concession story.
- Scope flags must fit goods transport, not only a passenger or unrelated concession.
What data can be compared
| What to compare | Compare with | Risk signal |
|---|---|---|
| RPSD listing for the IČO | Contracting entity | No road transport concession found |
| Concession cancelled / suspended dates | Pickup date | Concession cancelled or suspended |
| Cargo scope flags | Goods lane requirements | No cargo authorisation for your haul |
| Large vehicles count | Fleet story | Register capacity does not match the promised fleet |
| Eurolicence validity and active copies | Cross-border EU lane | Missing, expired, or zero-copy eurolicence |
Limits of the check
- RPSD does not replace ARES company checks or ČKP insurance with plates.
- Eurolicence copy counts are not live truck assignment for tomorrow’s pickup.
- Trade licensing in RŽP is a separate layer for some sole traders.
- Register downtime means retry, not approval from an old PDF.
Red flags and common mistakes
No RPSD concession for the IČO
The company may exist in ARES without road haulage rights. Pause before cargo details go out.
Concession cancelled or suspended
Hard stop until the register shows an active concession for the pickup date.
Eurolicence missing on a cross-border lane
Domestic concession alone may not cover your EU lane. Requires review.
No heavy goods authorisation for a heavy lane
Scope mismatch between the concession and the load you want to book.
How Certica includes RPSD
Certica automatically collects and analyses carrier verification data, detects risk signals, and supports your decision before a load is assigned.
Certica pulls the official register as part of carrier verification, together with company, VAT, insurance when plates are provided, and domain checks. You see risk signals before pickup. The PDF is an audit trail.
For Czech carriers, RPSD runs by IČO alongside ARES, RŽP, VIES, and ČKP when plates are provided.
- Concession and eurolicence status checked in the same verification.
- Official RPSD extract attached when the fetch succeeds.
- Works from IČO plus country CZ without a separate RPSD login.

FAQ
What is RPSD?
RPSD is Czechia’s register of road transport operators under the Ministry of Transport. Forwarders use it to confirm concessions and eurolicences by IČO.
How do I check a Czech transport licence?
Search RPSD by IČO on booking day. Confirm the concession is active, cargo scope fits your lane, and eurolicence lines cover cross-border work when needed.
Where is the official RPSD site?
https://rpsd.mdcr.cz/undertaker
Does ARES replace an RPSD check?
No. ARES confirms the company. RPSD confirms road transport concessions and eurolicences. You need both before you assign a load.
