ATD Latvia Licence Check | Find a Transport Operator

ATD (Autotransporta direkcija) is Latvia’s official road transport licence register. Search by company name or registration number on booking day, confirm which licence types are listed, and read validity dates and status for the operator you contract with. An active company in UR without ATD haulage rights is not enough to assign a load.

How to check an ATD Latvian transport licence step by step

ATD runs a public licence search at ATD Latvia licences search (Latvian: ATD Latvia licences search (LV)). No account is needed to look up an operator.

Step 1: open the ATD licences search

Go to ATD Latvia licences search. The English-language page has separate fields for operator name, registration number, and document number.

Step 2: enter the registration number and search

Enter the Latvian company registration number of the operator you are checking, or search by operator name, and submit. The search returns a list of matching operators.

Step 3: open the operator detail page and read the licence table

Open the operator from the results to reach its detail page. The licence table lists licence types such as National, EU community, and Vehicle, each with valid-from and valid-until dates and an is-valid marker.

Read National and EU community rows against your pickup date. Vehicle rows are plate-linked copies of the operator documents, not a separate company licence.

Step 4: check a plate against the operator when you have one

If you have a vehicle plate or a licence card number, enter it in the document number field to search directly. This lets you confirm the plate is tied to the operator you already checked, rather than to a different company.

Step 5: save the result with the date

Save a screenshot or print of the detail page with the date you checked it, so the load file shows the licence status as it stood on booking day.

Certica

Don't want to do this on every booking?

Certica pulls data from the same registers, checks it, and shows a clear result: what is OK, and what needs clarifying before loading.
