MTR Estonia Register | Check a Transport Licence
MTR (Majandustegevuse register) is Estonia’s official economic activities register used for transport and freight licences under TTJA. Open the public MTR search, enter the company registry code on booking day, and confirm activity type, licence number, and validity for the undertaking you contract with. An active company register entry without a valid MTR transport or freight licence is not enough to assign a load.
How to check an Estonian MTR transport licence step by step
MTR is Estonia's public register of economic activity licences, searchable by registry code without a login. Open the transport undertaking search with _reset=1 so sticky filters from a previous session are cleared.
Step 1: open the MTR transport undertaking search
Go to MTR Estonian transport operator search. The _reset=1 parameter clears sticky filters. This is the public search for transport-related activity licences under the Estonian Transport Administration, TTJA.
Step 2: enter the registry code and search
Enter the Estonian registry code (registrikood) of the company you are checking and run the search. MTR returns the activity licences registered under that code, if any.
Step 3: open the row and read validity fields
Open the matching row and check activity type (for example community licence certified copy for goods transport), licence number, validity dates, the validity flag, any linked community licence, valid vehicle cards, and the transport manager. An expired or invalid flag on booking day is a hard stop.
Step 4: match the company name to your invoice
Compare the company name on the licence and the registry code to the entity on your invoice. A mismatch here usually means you are looking at the wrong company or a related entity that does not hold the licence.
Step 5: save the result with the date
Save a screenshot or print of the MTR result with the date you checked it, so the load file reflects the licence status as it stood on booking day.
Certica
Don't want to do this on every booking?
Certica pulls data from the same registers, checks it, and shows a clear result: what is OK, and what needs clarifying before loading.
